The PADA Board of Trustees were delighted to be the ‘runners up’ for 2nd year running in the governance award section in Te Puna Tautoko Volunteer Wellington .NZ Mahi Aroha Awards held on 22 June in Wellington.

The event was held at the KPMG offices in central Wellington and was attended by over 100 guests from the community, and public and business sectors in the Wellington region.

Our kaiārahi, who mainly work in the mental health and health & wellbeing sectors, and who, like many of us, have a busy family life, give their time unselfishly to ensure that PADA can build a better and brighter future for families and whānau during their pregnancy, childbirth and early parenting journey, to improve the gaps in our mental health services, and to eliminate the stigma of perinatal mental illness in Aotearoa.

Thank you to Te Puna Tautoko Volunteer Wellington and all the judges from Internet NZ and Domain Name Commission NZ for recognising their mahi and acknowledging their aroha.

You can check out our amazing Board here.

Acknowledgements also to the guest speakers, Hon Priyanca Radhakrishnan MP, Minister for the Community & Voluntary Sector and Mayor Andy Foster for Wellington, and to the sponsors KPMG and InternetNZ.
