Kia Kaha Mama
Go to the Kia Kaha Mama Facebook page for more tautoko (support) during your hapūtanga (pregnancy) and throughout Motherhood. Kaniwa uniquely blends Life Coaching with her Mama/Wahine experiences, a rich upbringing in Matauranga and Tikanga with her Clinical Expertise as a Qualified Midwife, to help Wahine (women) prepare themselves for their journey through Motherhood. She offers a holistic practice with an Indigenous Māori lens and her services are open to any wahine preparing herself for motherhood.
Kaniwa honours the Māori Atua (Goddess) Hine Te Iwaiwa, who guides, supports and protects wahine during pregnancy, childbirth, child rearing, women’s arts and rights.
