Dr Allanah Casey – Clinical Psychologist
PhD, PGDipClinPsyc, MNZCCP
I am a Clinical Psychologist working in private practice in Tauranga. I specialise in women’s mental health, with much of my work supporting mums in the perinatal phase. That work includes post-natal depression and anxiety, but also more broadly the adjustment and identity changes that come with parenthood. I also work with women on birth trauma, and pregnancy loss.
I see my role as helping clients to identify both what is and isn’t working well for them, and to support them to learn skills and change the things that aren’t working. I create a space where clients can feel safe to share even the hardest parts of their experiences, and work collaboratively to meet their goals.
