PERINATAL EDUCATION OPPORTUNITY
This event is a trauma informed perinatal care seminar.
A one day professional development workshop for those who are professionally or volunteeringly working with families in the perinatal space. Our goal is to help people who come into contact with whānau at this stage of their lives to understand what the risks and triggers are for mental distress, and what barriers people face in asking for help, and how to approach the issue when they see signs of it. How can people create a safe space for everyone through their child birth journey?
